You may be wandering alone, but you are not the only one wandering. This project was derived from studies of a log that explored the relationship between two distinct figures. Merce Cunningham's Company Night of 100 solos, where dancers move seemingly unknowing of the other's presence until they both reach synchronous choreography that Merce used in disparate pieces, served as inspiration. The moment of acknowledging another is captured by two separate retreats with a thin wooden wall that allows sound and light to pass through, synchronizing the two spaces.
